Foods to Avoid When Suffering From Gastritis

What is gastritis and what causes it?

Gastritis is an inflammation, erosion or irritation that occurs on the stomach lining either suddenly or gradually over time. It is a condition mostly caused by bacteria known as Helicobacter pylori.

Other causes might include excessive alcohol, stress, chronic vomiting, use of certain types of medication or even backflow of bile back into the stomach.
It may cause abdominal pains, burning inside your stomach or above it and frequent stomach aches, nausea, constant burping, vomiting, hiccups and even a loss of appetite.

No one wants to deal with this that’s for sure but the good news is, your diet can help you out. Eating the following foods however will not allow your stomach lining to heal and as such, you should avoid them.
